Technology's impact on students in the classroom depends on professional learning for teachers.  Over the past five years Lambton Kent District School Board has successfully implemented a 1:1 iPad program in all Grade 7 & 8 classrooms.  This program has been successful because of the layered professional development provided to educators before and during implementation.  In this session, Sharon will share how pairing professional learning about pedagogy with training on using devices ensures that educators are confident in using technology to support the learners in their classrooms.
