Decisions…we make them every day from the time we wake up in the morning until the time we go to bed at night. It is said that, on average, we make 70 decisions a day. But how often do we stop to consider how those decisions affect others? Amanda spent 15 years working in law enforcement in Alberta. The most common excuse she heard people use is “I’m only hurting myself, what does it matter”. However, nothing could be further from the truth. Using an actual impaired driving collision that affected Amanda personally as an example, Amanda expertly provides answers as to why people make wrong decisions and provides information on how to make the right decisions at the right times. She further shows how the decisions people make each and every day affect more than just themselves, often cause a ripple effect and impact people they don't even know.

With the Liberal Federal Government talking about legalizing marijuana, impaired driving prevention is at the forefront of many educational programs right now and therefore it is important for school leaders and teachers to have the correct information regarding this topic. In her presentation, Amanda will also provide an insight into current legislation, how having one drink or one "joint" can lead to a criminal code charge, how a criminal code charge can affect future opportunities, what liability exists surrounding parties (especially organized Grad Parties) and provide suggestions on how to decrease liability where drugs and alcohol may be involved. Along with this, Amanda will leave you with a story you will never forget...

Described as life altering, attitude changing, inspirational and life changing by numerous school Principal's this presentation is one you do not want to miss!
