As school leaders we live in urgency. This urgency can be both a curse and a blessing. It’s a blessing when we can slow things down and attend to the following questions: How do we stay the course and lead with purpose? How do we help others find their purpose? How do we shift the paradigm of those we lead when needed? How do we lead with intention involving key stakeholders? In this session, school leaders will get an opportunity to reflect on their practice and look at answers to these questions. Participants will be exposed to the research and ideas of educational leaders who believe in the work of “intentional” school improvement. Join an interactive session that allows for school leaders to link their current practice with the possibility of new approaches to effective school leadership.
