High School Redesign began in Alberta in 2010-11 as the High School Completion Strategic Framework. It continues today as Moving Forward With High School Redesign. This session will focus on the redesign efforts of two high schools in NE Calgary that have very different developmental trajectories, but which used similar research-based strategies to impact student achievement and high school completion. Equity is at the heart of their work to ensure that all students have access to high level learning objectives.
